Texas Independence

The Texas Revolution of 1835-36 was fought by American and Texas Mexican colonists against Mexico. The Revolution began on 2 October 1835 with a small skirmish at the Battle of Gonzales. Later engagements were at Goliad, the Grass Fight, the Alamo, Refugio, Coleto, and San Jacinto.
